Amherst deed data shows 15 sales, only two of which carry a price so far
Fifteen properties in Amherst changed hands between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but only two carry a recorded sale price so far: $261,000 for a condominium unit at Brook at Amherst Green (170 East Hadley Road) and $182,000 for 15 South Orchard Drive, for a median of $221,500. The other 13 sales show "price not yet available," typical of the registry's reporting lag. Eight of the 15 transactions involved a bank as buyer or seller, and four involved a trust or estate, suggesting much of this period's activity reflects bank-owned resales and estate-related transfers rather than conventional owner-to-owner sales.
