Amherst deed data shows 16 transfers, but sale price disclosed for just 3
Hampshire County recorded 16 Amherst property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only three disclosed a sale price: $677,000 for 400 Middle St, $100,000 for 176 Alpine Dr, and $31,500 for 12 Frost Ln, a median of $100,000 among those three. The other 13 transfers, including four with Greenfield Savings Bank as seller and several involving trusts, credit unions or municipal buyers, listed no price. Pomeroy Lane had two recorded transfers. With price data available for less than a fifth of recorded transfers, overall market tone cannot be determined from this dataset alone.
