Regional School Committee approves superintendent evaluation tool and bullying plan update
Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee · Meeting of June 23, 2026
AMHERST — Regional School Committee approves superintendent evaluation tool and revamped bullying response framework. The committee voted 8 to 0, with one absent, to adopt the 2025-2026 evaluation tool using the Perform platform and DESE rubric language. Administrator Colleen Bogonovich presented a comprehensive Bullying Prevention and Intervention Plan update driven by 36 reports filed across seven schools from February through March, identifying five recurring gaps in trust, consistency, transparency, equity, and follow-up; the four-phase plan includes quarterly data reporting to school committees and required named assignment of investigators at intake.
The committee also unanimously adopted ten personnel and operational policies for a July 1, 2026 implementation date and scheduled deeper governance review of School Committee meetings policy for next year.
