Amherst-Pelham school committee approves LGBTQIA+ supports amid investigations. The committee voted 9 to 0 to approve the ARMS LGBTQIA+ Supports Statement with revisions made at the meeting and 6 to 0, with one abstention, for the Instructional Materials Policy. Acting Superintendent Dr.
Slaughter said Title 9 investigations into Morris and Cunningham will conclude by August and are being conducted by a single investigator. Multiple residents called for faster investigations and administrative action against those under investigation.
