Regional School Committee enters executive session on superintendent contract.

Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee votes unanimously to enter executive session on superintendent contract. Chair William Sherr called the meeting to order at 6:11 p.m. with eight of nine members present; Amherst member Bridget Hynes was absent. The committee voted unanimously to enter executive session under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30A, Section 21(a), Purpose 2, to conduct strategy and collective bargaining sessions with Superintendent Dr.
E Xiomara Herman, with no intent to return to open session. Union 26, the regional employee benefit organization, approved an identical motion unanimously and also entered executive session.
