AMHERST — Three committees approve superintendent evaluation instrument. The Amherst, Pelham, and Regional school committees voted to approve a new superintendent evaluation framework for incoming Superintendent Dr. Herman, establishing four standards with district-specific goals.

The Amherst School Committee voted 4-0, with Jennifer Shiao abstaining; Pelham voted unanimously; the Regional Committee voted 8-0 with Shiao abstaining. The instrument provides consistent evaluation criteria across the three-district region.
