Superintendent Search Committee organizes, elects co-chairs to lead recruitment

AMHERST — Superintendent Search Committee organizes for regional school superintendent search. The 20-member committee met virtually February 10 to review its charge and elect Inanna Balkin as co-chair, joining appointed co-chair Sarah Marshall. Search consultant McPherson & Jacobson will accept applications through February 22, with the committee set to recommend two to four candidates for public interviews to the Regional School Committee on April 9.
Balkin and Marshall will coordinate with the consultant on application-handling procedures and candidate evaluation tools. The consultant will present feedback from stakeholder listening sessions to the RSC on February 27.
