Subcommittee approves operating protocols for regional review

Amherst board subcommittee advances two protocols to regional committee. The Operating Protocols Subcommittee, chaired by Tim Shores and including members Sarahbess Kenney and Sarah Marshall, unanimously approved prior minutes before advancing two governance protocols: internal communications procedures and meeting minutes documentation standards. Three additional protocols on communications with Superintendent Dr.
Xi, responding to staff and public inquiries, and public participation procedures require further revision by subcommittee members. The subcommittee has set a goal of developing approximately five protocols total before submitting an initial comprehensive proposal to the Regional School Committee.
