Amherst Pelham Regional School Committee finalizes six graduate competencies. The committee approved a Portrait of a Graduate framework establishing six competencies — adaptive problem solver, critical thinker, innovative creator, responsible citizen, self-determined individual, and skilled communicator — based on input from five focus groups, presented by Chief Education Strategist Allison Layland, PhD. Superintendent Dr.
Xi Herman reported Track and Field construction contracts have been signed for start of construction at school year's end with field lighting included; mold remediation at Amherst Regional Middle School is complete. Two Engineering for Social Good student projects were presented, and the meeting adjourned early after failing to extend the 2.5-hour time limit.
