Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee · Meeting of October 20, 2026

The Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee approved a new Human Resources Generalist position in a split 4-2-2-1 vote, with Chair William Sherr, members Sarahbess Kenney, Andrew Hart, and Sarah Marshall voting yes, members Tim Shores and Laura Jane Hunter voting no, and members Anna Heard and Bridget Hynes abstaining. The position will be funded entirely by a surplus in Regional Rural School Aid without affecting the operating budget. Separately, the committee unanimously authorized 179 supplemental pay assignments totaling $334,183 for the 2026-27 school year and adopted revised school calendars for Amherst Regional Middle School and Chestnut Street Academy, making up three days lost to the delayed opening.
