AMHERST — Pelham School Committee discussed but did not formally change Superintendent Goal 3 at its March 3 meeting. Shannon Bernacchia, Executive Director of Finance and Operations, presented the second-quarter budget update with questions from Rachel Figurasmith about food services and student funding. Sarahbess Kenney, Secretary, expressed concern the proposed revision asked too much in the remaining school-year timeframe.

Committee Chair Margaret Stancer coordinated with Massachusetts Association of School Committees representative Tracy Novick to host a community education funding advocacy event on March 13. The committee scheduled the FY27 budget vote for April 7.
