AMHERST — DPW Building Committee approved design scope and set December completion target. Chair Christine Gray-Mullen and the committee heard from Weston & Sampson Engineering team members JP Parnas and Jenn Kady on program verification and site evaluation. The design timeline called for site selection by mid-September and full site plans by mid-November.

Owners' Project Manager Bob Peirent reported an outside project manager would be hired after schematic completion, with sufficient current budget to solicit and hire the OPM and remaining costs to be requested in the next budget phase. Committee member Pam Rooney requested a DPW staff list to ensure adequate space in the design.
