AMHERST — The Governance, Organization & Legislation Committee unanimously approved a proclamation supporting September 15 as International Myotonic Dystrophy Awareness Day. All five members voted in favor. The committee also discussed establishing a Resident Oversight Board, with members reviewing two proposed models.

A motion to recommend the review model was made but drew no vote. Members raised concerns about unknown costs, the complaint process, and potential retaliation as they debated the two models.
