Amherst superintendent search committee enters executive session

Amherst superintendent search committee votes unanimously to enter closed-session candidate screening. Committee Chair Sarah Marshall called the preliminary screening committee to order March 16 with 14 members initially present. The committee approved three sets of prior minutes unanimously and then voted 16-0-0 under state open meeting law to move into executive session for preliminary interviews of superintendent candidates, citing the need to protect applicant confidentiality.
