Amherst records 12 deed transfers in October, only a third carry a price so far

Amherst recorded 12 deed transfers in October 2026, but only four carried a sale price by the time records were compiled: $30,000, $35,000, $188,000 and $304,000, for a median of $111,500.

Amherst recorded 12 deed transfers in October 2026, but only four carried a sale price by the time records were compiled: $30,000, $35,000, $188,000 and $304,000, for a median of $111,500. The month's top transaction was a $304,000 sale of a unit at Greenleaves Retirement Community No. 3, from Amhad Development Corp. to William P. and Charlene Weber. Three other recordings, at Columbia Circle, South East Street and Colonial Court, were estate tax affidavits or a homestead declaration rather than property sales. With most prices still pending and several bank-related transfers in the mix, the data does not support a clear read on market tone this period.
