Amherst deed filings mostly await price data as September closes

Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 15 Amherst property transactions between Sept. 25 and Oct. 24, but only one has a posted sale price so far: 471 Flat Hills Road, which sold Sept. 28 for $555,000 from the Margaret McClamroch Declaration of Trust to Sandra K. Ames as a life estate.

Ames as a life estate. The other 14 recorded transactions, including several listing banks or credit unions such as UMassFive, PeoplesBank, TruNorth Bank and MERS as sellers, have not yet posted prices in registry data. Several entries also reflect administrative filings, such as notices and affidavits, rather than standard sales. With pricing data this limited, the period's overall market tone cannot be assessed from the available figures.
