Amherst Deed Activity Tops 15 Transfers as Condo Sales Lead Disclosed Prices
Fifteen property deeds were recorded in Amherst between July 24 and Aug. 22, but only five disclosed a sale price, ranging from $134,200 to $310,000, with a median of $200,000. The month's top disclosed sale was a $310,000 condominium transfer at 28 Greenleaves Drive, Unit 814, in the Greenleaves Retirement Community, from Amhad Development Corp. to Teresa West. Four of five disclosed sales involved condo units, and banks or credit unions appeared as buyer or seller in a majority of all 15 recorded transfers. With two-thirds of transfers carrying no listed price, the data shows steady recording volume but limited visibility into overall dollar trends.
